So, why buy a computer from a store when you can build your own with us? As a bonus, you’ll learn about the components inside.

Here’s the Deal:

  • You order one of the computers below. (Once contacted, we’ll provide additional ordering details.)

  • We will obtain the necessary components.

  • You show up for one of our build days and provide us the balance of payment.

  • We will show you how build your computer and install Windows.

  • We test the computer out with you.

  • You walk out with a terrific computer.

Deposit: We require a $300 deposit by Tuesday, November 26, 2019, before we order the components necessary to build your computer. Contact us and we’ll provide you with information on how to make a deposit payment. Balance of payment will be due on the build date.

Build Dates: We are currently offering build dates on the following dates and times:

  • Saturday, December 14, 2019, 10 am

  • Alternate:  Thursday, December 26, 2019, 1 pm

  • Alternate:  Thursday, January 2, 2020, 1 pm

Build times are expected to take 3 to 4 hours. The build location will be at Make-It-Here, 5225 Thatcher Rd., Downers Grove. Check out their cool MakerSpace while there!

Proceeds from computers will go to Go Team 2704, the non-profit support organization for Roaring Robotics, a FIRST Robotics Competition team for students 13 - 18.

Roaring Robotics is a team for students 13 - 18. The team will start accepting students for the 2020 - 2021 season in June 2020. Contact the team if you’d like to be placed on our e-mail list for the 2020 - 2021 season. The team will also have some events which interested students may attend with a parent during the 2019 - 2020 season.
