is a robot designed, built, and programmed by Roaring Robotics students, ages 13 - 18, for competition.
He weighs over 120 lbs. and can
extend over 7 ft. tall.
Students 13 - 18
Roaring Robotics consist of students in 8th through 12th grades from all over.
Roaring Robotics is generously sponsored by
businesses such as Make-It-Here (pictured) and Caterpillar. Family costs for our team is less than that of comparable teams.
The robots built by our team weigh
over 100 lbs. and compete on
a 27' x 54' field. Our 2018 season
robot extends over 7' high.
Roaring Robotics introduces students to science and technology. Once introduced, students apply what they know on a project. The experience they gain prepares them for a professional career.
Student involvement is our focus. Although we have mentors to provide guidance, our students design, build, and program the competition robots. They even fix the robots when the occasional breakdown occurs.
More Than Robots
Roaring Robotics has and active media/graphics team to promote our team and make it look great. In addition, our team is run much like a business. As such, we have openings for students interested marketing and business in addition to photography, videography, graphics, media, and (of course) robots.
