Society of Women Engrs.
The Society of Women Engineers provided a substantial grant for the 2022-2023 Charged Up Season enabling us to be a “no fees” team. SWE is a catalyst for change for women. For more than seven decades, SWE has given women engineers a unique place and voice within the engineering industry.
Caterpillar essentially founded our team in 2007 and has been a primary sponsor of our team since our inception. Simply put, our team would not exist without Caterpillar. The majority of our funding continues to come from Caterpillar. We are able to be a “no fees” team because of Caterpillar’s generous sponsorship.
US Engineering League
In 2021, US Engineering League started hosting us along with several other robotics teams to form a robotics gathering place to complement their STEM [Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math] educational classes. US Engineering League is a national organization dedicated to providing STEM based education with an emphasis on hands-on learning through competition.
Professional Wealth Advisors (PWA) provided our team a substantial grant for the 2023-2024 season. PWA provides the essential financial coaching and guidance for their family, friends, and clients to accomplish the things in life that are truly important to them. PWA provides this guidance with integrity, honesty and, above all else, great personal care.
Gene Haas Foundation
The Gene Haas Foundation provided our team with a grant for the 2022-2023 season. The Gene Haas Foundation was established in 1999, by Gene Haas, founder and owner of Haas Automation, Inc., to support the needs of the local community, through grants to such local charities as the Boys and Girls Clubs, Food Share, Rescue Mission, and others.
TE Connectivity provided our team with a grant for the 2022-2023 season. As the go-to engineering partner for today’s innovation leaders and technology entrepreneurs, TE Connectivity is helping solve tomorrow’s toughest challenges with advanced connectivity and sensors solutions.
The Intuitive Foundation provided our team with a grant for the 2022-2023 season. The Intuitive Foundation was created in 2018 to promote health and advance education by making grants to section 501(c)(3) organizations and foreign charities medical and technology research; science, technology, engineering, and math-related educational programs, training, and fellowships; and for other similar purposes.
Vine Counseling Center
Vine Counseling Center provided our team a grant for the 2023-2024 season and lists us as a community partner on their website. With specialized training and years of experience, Vine’s therapists help address the diverse needs of children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Commonly addressed challenges include anxiety, depression, complex trauma, eating disorders, grief, life transitions, and relationship issues, among many others.
Bartoszek Engineering is a consulting firm specializing in mechanical and electro-mechanical design for the nuclear and high energy physics community world-wide. In addition to financial support, Bartoszek Engineering has provided our team with engineering training classes and mentorship.

Aurora Public Library
Starting in 2018, the Aurora Public Library has hosted outreach and recruiting events for our team. The team is looking forward to a partnership with the library to reach out to those in the Aurora community.
