Note: We are no longer accepting students for the 2019-2020 season. We will start accepting students for the next season in June 2020. Contact us if you’d like to be put on an e-mail list for upcoming team events.

Our 2018 Season robot on the testing field at the Central Illinois Regional competition.
Roaring Robotics competes in about four robotics competitions each year. Specifically, two major competitions, an off-season competition using the season competition robot, and a small warm-up competition. The video shows the challenge for the 2019 season.
The robots built by our team weigh over 100 lbs. and compete on a 27' x 54' field. Our 2018 season robot extended over 7' high.
Roaring Robotics introduces students to science and technology. Once introduced, students apply what they know on a project. The experience they gain prepares them for a professional career.
Student involvement is our focus. Although we have mentors to provide guidance, our students design, build, and program the robots for competition. They even fix the robots when the occasional breakdown occurs.
Roaring Robotics has and active media/graphics team to promote our team and make it look great. In addition, our team is run much like a business. As such, we have openings for students interested marketing and business in addition to photography, videography, graphics, media, and (of course) robots.
